Whether you’re classic B-Body is a restoration project, street car,cruiser or even a drag racer the UMI Performance control arms are anexcellent upgrade. This boxed control arm set is a direct bolt-ondesigned to replace the stock stamped steel control arms. Over timestock control arms rust weakening them, the OEM bushings dry rot,harden and crack decreasing your ride quality and vehicle performance.This new set-up is supplied with grease-able Energy Suspensionpolyurethane bushings designed to improve ride quality and overallperformance. The polyurethane bushings reduce bushing deflection foundwith stock rubber bushings helping to reduce body roll and increasetraction by eliminating wheel hop. The construction of the control armsfeatures 0.120″ wall thickness rectangular tubing with CNC machineddrawn over mandrel bushing holders and MIG welded end caps to keep outunwanted road debris. Control Arms feature correct spring perches toexcept the factory spring. Stock hardware can be used or a new hardwarekit can be purchased below.New Hardware Kit- UMIPerformance offers the option below to purchase new mounting hardwarefor installing our control arms. This kit includes all needed Grade 8hardware for installing (1) set of lower control arms. Note: Thishardware kit does not include a new shock mount bolts; you must re-usethe OEM bolt. This kit does include new nuts for the shock mount bolt.
